Awesome! I emailed the DOT here and sadly, they wouldn’t let me register an Ape for road use, so that throws a wrench into my importing one plans....apparently that is only here in Nova Scotia too, it seems. I know an acquaintance who has one of the few that was imported here back in the ‘70s and his was grandfathered in, but they wouldn’t do so for a newer one, even if it’s 15 years old or older :(

It is elsewhere in Canada. A lot of the driving laws are made by province so apparently here in Nova Scotia they aren't legal. But in other provinces they are! :(
